- The trackside wall is due for demolition. This work will require a track closure, scheduled for Sunday 12th February, and will be undertaken with Network Rail’s supervision.

- The gates are locked for the next few weeks – with intermittent consultants visiting to confirm information. But don’t worry we are busy behind the scenes getting ready for the next stage.
- Now the Structural Investigations are also complete, the structural steel design work can begin.
- Our next visible step is to start the detailed level excavation – to reduce the ground levels to where they need to be for the design, prepare the piling mat, and immobilise the on-site set up for the main build.

- The Ground Investigations are progressing this week on the areas originally covered by buildings.
- Areas being investigated have been carefully chosen in relation to the new design.
- The CCTV investigations have begun which sees cameras & rods inserted into the existing network of drains on site to assess whether they can be reused for the new building or whether new drainage will need to be laid. Some drains are so concealed SONAR technology is having to be used.
