  • Construction stage phase 2 works are progressing very well.
  • First fix construction of all internal walls and ceilings to the ground floor apartments are completed.
  • All first fix Mechanical & Electrical works, including service core drilling, are also completed.

This update about the development progress of The Residence in Liverpool is update dated from 30/05/2017. The following mobilisation activities and early site works have been identified by Forrest which have either already commenced or will commence in May and June 2017.

  • Hoarding erected between the site and adjacent car park and off-site offices.
  • Archaeological dig by Salford University.
  • Removal of the existing advertising screen to be co-ordinated with the main contractor’s above works.

The Residence | Development Progress 17/06/2017

This update about the development progress of The Residence in Liverpool is dated from 17/06/2017. All construction stage phase 1 works (as listed below) are now fully completed.

Main Points: 

  • All fittings & fixtures removed and disposed off site.
  • Disconnection of all air handling and air conditioning equipment.
  • 1st Fix partition walls and formation of all apartments completed to ground, first and second floors. Third floor to be completed within the next week.

The Residence | Development Progress 03/07/2017

Forrest Construction Limited have been appointed under letter of intent to mobilise and commence works on site. Fortnightly meetings are being held with Forrest Construction Ltd to finalise the agreement into a JCT contract.

  • Dynasafe carried out explosive ordnance testing on site.
  • Car park hardstanding breaking out commenced and piling mat.

The Residence | Development Progress 11/08/2017

This update about the development progress of The Residence in Liverpool is dated from 11/08/2017. All construction stage phase 1 works are now fully completed. Construction stage phase 2 works are progressing satisfactorily except for the fifth floor, which has been delayed due to additional structural works required for the additional floors above.

  • All kitchens, including appliances are completed on the ground floor.
  • Overall fire strategy has now been agreed with the consultants, Olsson Fire, and various interim inspections continuing. Fire fighting lifts have been ordered.

This update about the development progress of The Residence in Liverpool is for the month of August. Overall fire strategy has now been agreed with the consultants, Olsson Fire, and various interim inspections continuing. Fire fighting lifts have been ordered.

Main Points: 

  • Fire protection works are at an advanced stage.
  • Electrical connections to individual apartments have been agreed with Scottish Power and metering positions (within the basement) agreed.
  • Building Control periodic inspections are continuing, the most recent being 8 August 2017.

The Residence | Development Progress 25/10/2017

This update about the development progress of The Residence in Liverpool is for the month of October. Construction stage phase 2 works are progressing very well except for the fifth floor, which is currently in delay due to the additional structural works being carried out and the addition of two extra floors, which has just been granted planning permission.

Main Points: 

  • Ground floor has now achieved practical completion with all floor coverings laid. One apartment has also been furnished.
  • Second floor is approximately 10 days away from practical completion. All kitchens are installed along with appliances.
  • Partitioning works have not yet commenced due to the structural works which have now commenced for the fifth floor. This floor has been affected by the addition of another two floors above.
